Your Energy Bank Account: Make More Deposits Than Withdrawals
Opening
You already manage time and money with care—your energy deserves the same attention. When withdrawals exceed deposits, clarity fades, tension rises, and even simple tasks feel heavy. The fix isn’t to push harder; it’s to rebalance gently and consistently.

Deposits vs. Withdrawals (Spot Them Fast)
• Common withdrawals: cluttered visuals, multitasking, over-promising, noise, late caffeine, comparison, harsh self-talk.
• Steady deposits: slow exhale (longer out-breath), nature moment, single-tasking, tidy micro-zone, compassionate inner voice, short stretch.
Reference: I expand on these in The Energetic Edge—see the Books page (link below).
A 7-Minute Rebalance You Can Do Anywhere
1. Notice (2 min): Scan head, jaw, shoulders, chest, belly. Name 1 tension and 1 emotion.
2. Reset (3 min): Breathe in 4, out 6 for 10 rounds; feet flat, jaw softens on each exhale.
3. Choose (2 min): Replace one withdrawal with one deposit (open a window, move for 60 seconds, clear two items from view).

Gentle Guidance for Boundaries (That Still Feel Kind)
Try:
• “I can give this my full attention tomorrow morning.”
• “I’m available for 15 minutes now, or we can book a longer time later.”
• “I’ll need to keep this simple today.”
If workplace dynamics are draining, my short guide Dealing with Difficult People at Work can help—DM “BOUNDARY” for the PDF.
Environment Deposits (Micro, but Mighty)
• Clear a visual lane (one arm’s-width of desk space).
• Bring in living energy (plant, natural light, fresh air).
• Add a grounding cue (small stone, hand-on-heart pause before emails).
These align with the “space supports self” principles I teach in my Feng Shui work.
Weekly Reconciliation (10 Minutes)
• Tally: What added energy? What drained it?
• Trade: Replace one recurring withdrawal with a weekly deposit.
• Tend: Plan two tiny deposits you’ll actually do.
Energy alignment grows from small, repeatable choices. If you’d like a gentle snapshot of where you’re strong and where you’re leaking energy, take my Personal Energy Assessment—I’ll review it personally and send reflections + next steps.
